What: Kids’ Corner Event

Flower pounded bookmarks and cards.  

Each child will make and go home with a bookmark and card in May.  We will take fresh flowers, herbs, leafs, etc…. The kids will lay out the flowers they choose on a bookmark. Cover the flowers with a piece of paper towel and gently tap the flowers with a hammer. Check to see how the color is transferring and pound more if needed.  Some flowers will take longer and harder hammering than others.  Peal off the paper towel, allow the card or bookmark to dry.  Use your fingernail to scratch off the flower residue gently.  Enjoy your creation.
