Beginner through advanced students will learn different skills, techniques, and facts about watercolor. There will be demos for everyone to try, and then a different painting each class. Students will complete at least 95% of their paintings before leaving. This is a fun and energized class. Please join us!

Watercolor Paints
If you have other colors already set up, we'll work with those.
Other colors you may want to add are Antwerp and Raw sienna.

Bring what you have, these are just suggestions.
1" flat
#6 round
#10, #14, or #16 round
#4 filbert
#1 rigger
Brush, round #4 or #6 (dedicated for applying masking fluid)
Other
Palette to mix on (usually plastic); some are included with the watercolor sets.
Board (rigid, plastic or masonite, not cardboard) to tape your paper onto. Minimal size 14x18".
Watercolor paper 9x12" (Arches 140 lb. cold press is excellent, Canson 140 lb will also work.)
Masking or blue tape 1 -1 1/2".
Pencil 2H or 2B and white eraser (a grey gummy eraser can be handy but not a must).
Paper towels
Small spray bottle
Small (sample) bottle of shampoo
Masking fluid (such as Winsor Newton)
Optional:
Hand-held mirror
Make-up brush (cheap, clean)
Q-tips
Cotton balls
