Workshop Description:
Renowned New Hampshire artist Doris Rice http://www.dorisrice.com/) is an experienced traveler who is constantly seeking out lovely places around the world to share her vast knowledge of plein air watercolor techniques. Each workshop is a complete learning experience, offering an introduction to watercolor materials and many techniques for using papers, paints and brushes to best advantage… How to develop your own style as you learn the principles and elements of painting …How to stir that right side of your brain to create exciting new images!

Each morning’s demonstration will give suggestions and guidance in composition and format, then the instruction moves you along to creating for yourself… working on an original painting each day.

Afternoon brings critique time, when we examine the day’s thoughts on paper and see where you can go with the painting to bring it to a finish. It’s a cumulative learning experience, blossoming each day in a new way. It’s really fun… Join us if you’re up for an adventure!
