NOVEMBER 2024 FEATURED ARTIST: CHRIS KRALJ

This show, "2D or/not 2D" is retrospective that brings in paintings and sculptures,
which have been displayed in Chris’ home for the last few years.

Chris Kralj grew up in an artistic family. His parents met in college as art students after WWII. His father was a graphic designer who owned his own print shop in San Francisco.  Chris’ mother was a housewife that constantly produced art; watercolors, jewelry, and sculpture.  She had several "one man" shows. Some of her work was shown at the California Art Museum in Oakland. Her mother, Grandmary was an untrained artist with natural talent who constantly produced art; ceramic and mosaics. Growing up in this creative environment Chris was encouraged to use his talent.

During some of the most productive time, from 2000 to 2010, Chris produced in several media, taking advantage of the studio space at the local community college.
