This class is for beginners and for experienced artists who are feeling a bit rusty and want to go back and practice the basics of drawing. Lessons will include exercises to help you make the necessary connection between eye, brain, and hand that leads to good drawing using the Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Workbook by Betty Edwards.

Class Audience:

For adults and youth ages 12 and up.

Class Experience Level:

Beginners or experienced artists wanting a refresher in drawing.

Class Size:

Minimum 4, maximum 12

Workshop Fees:

$16 for LCAC members and $18 for all others. Payment due in advance or on the first day of class.

How to Register:

Pay by cash or by check written to Caroline Henry paid on first day of class, or pay through your PayPal account sending payment to cdhenry209@comcast.net or Venmo to @Caroline-Henry-42. Even if you are paying on day of the class, be sure you let me know to expect you. The class will be cancelled if fewer than four are signed up.

Supplies:

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Workbook by Betty Edwards. Pencil (an ordinary #2 pencil is fine) an eraser, pencil sharpener, felt tip marker, tissues or paper towel, and extra paper or a sketchbook. The book is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, and other on-line sources. If you already have the Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Book, bring it and a sketchpad instead of buying the workbook.
