Workshop Description:
This is a season specific class in drawing and watercolor. Expect the following:
ALL CLASSES: 4PM TO 5:30 PM
Week 1 - Wed 9/7: A fall landscape. We will work from photos. You will choose your own scene.
Week 2 - Wed 9/14: Fall floral. We will draw and paint from a bouquet in autumnal colors.
Week 3 - Wed 9/21: Fall found objects. Again, we will create from direct observation. Acorns, dried seed pods, leaves, and other such objects that speak of seasonal change.
Week 4 - Wed 9/28: Wildlife of the season. This could be a stag with a fine set of antlers, a dog out for a walk on an autumn day, a shy fox, a raven, hawks in flight, or a little cat hiding in fallen leaves.

Week 5 - Wed 10/12: Fall harvest. A collection of fall fruits and vegetables will inspire us.
Week 6 - Wed 10/19: Fall fantasy. I will have some ideas to inspire you, but you may be as imaginative as you like, fairies in acorn hats, scarecrows, a tangle of lines in fall colors. What suits your fancy?
Class Audience:
Adults and youth ages 12 and above.
Class Experience Level:
Open to all experience levels, anyone who wants to learn to draw, improve their drawings, or have fun drawing with others.
Class Size:
Minimum: 4 - Maximum: 10
Required Supplies:
A 9” by 12” pad of watercolor paper, Ink pens, such as Staedtler or Micron Pigma fine liners. A watercolor set, either pan or tube. There is not a set palette of colors for this class, if you are missing a needed color for something, I will share. Watercolor brushes. I like round brushes. Also helpful, a pencil and eraser, paper towels or cloth, masking tape.
Workshop Fees:
Price listed is for the complete series. If you pay weekly in class, it is $12 for LCAC members and $14 for non members.
