In this series of classes you will improve your mixing of colors, how to make them work for you, and understand the fundamentals of color. We will do several practice exercises and small simple paintings to reinforce your understanding of mixing colors and using colors.

Required Supplies:
Paint
Cadmium yellow light /or Lemon yellow
Cad yellow medium
Cad red light
Alizrarin Crimson/or Permanent Rose
Ultra marine blue
Cobalt blue
Veridian green
Transparant red oxide
White
I use these brands: Michael Hardin, Winsor Newton, Gamblin (Your choice but I recommend a professional quality of paint)
Canvas panels 6x8, or 8x10 (they come in packs of 5 or individual) or paper for watercolor
Painter's Color Diary 9x2 or 6x6 from Jerry's Artarama
Or you can buy a pad of canvas sheets instead
Brushes: Size 4, 6, 8 (I prefer flats)
Gamsol or other terpenoid if preferred
Paper towels
Easels aren't needed as we are working small
