Exploring Media and Materials Series
Caroline Henry leads a series of monthly classes in which participants can try different materials and media without a big investment in supplies. You will complete a painting in each class. Fee paid n advance, which covers all materials, is $30 per class for members, $35 for non-members. If you pay on the day of class, add another $5. Sign up and pay at the LCAC gallery, 110 W. Scratch Art
We'll practice on quality paper backed scratchboard sheets and then create a drawing on a small Ampersand Claybord surface. In this medium the artist cuts through india ink to reveal a white clay surface, drawing with incising tools.
