Lodi Chamber of Commerce's Paint Lodi 2017
Paint Lodi 2017 Entries have been received and judged.
A total 25 Adult Entries, 2 Teen Entries, and over 60 children's entries were received and judged by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Pat Patrick.
Art will be on display at the Lodi Art Center Gallery November 1-26. 110 W. Pine Street Open Wednesdays - Sundays noon-5pm.
Reception will be at the First Friday Art Hop on November 3 6-8:30pm. Awards ceremony will begin at 7pm. Free refreshments.

In the spirit of Plein Air Art, contestants are encouraged to depict a scene of Lodi while in public spaces. The art is then displayed at the Lodi Community Art Center Gallery in Downtown Lodi. Winners will be determined and cash prizes awarded at a ceremony open to the public. Categories will include Downtown Lodi, Greater Lodi, and Lodi Wineries. Three age groups will be offered: Adults, Teens, and Children up to 12.
How to Enter:
This event is open to all ages. Works are encouraged to be for sale, available for show in November, and created during the plein air period October 13 – 22 on a “Paint Lodi 2017” stamped media. Artwork may be painted, drawn, or in mixed media.
Participants fill out an entry form, pay entry fees, and have their blank canvas or paper date-stamped by the Lodi Art Center during the sign up dates and return finished pieces during the delivery dates.
Each artist may submit up to three pieces of art. Framed size will be no larger than 24X24. All adult entries must be framed & wired for hanging. Painting on wrap around canvas is acceptable, If sides are painted. Plein Air painting is encouraged but not required but must be started andcompleted within the 10 day period. Downtown Scene area is between Stockton St and Pleasant Ave and Lodi Ave and Lockeford St. Other suggestions are Hutchins St Square, Lodi Lake, Lodi Parks, and Churches. Artists must check in with the Lodi Art Center to have media stamped before starting. Completed entry form with $10 for adults and $1 for youth 18 and under for each piece. Entry forms are available at the Lodi Community Art Center or at blue button above.
The show will be judged and awards and prizes will be given for 1st and 2nd place winners. Awards will be given at the First Friday Art Hop at the Lodi Art Center on November 3 at 7pm. There will be refreshments for all and prizes for all participating children.
